Gentle Seeds
About Us
Inspired by Charlotte Mason, we want to offer children a feast full of goodness, truth, and beauty. The childhood years are foundational and fleeting; it's the time now to treasure these growing years.
Just like how our body need food to be nourished, we believe in offering a nourishing "feast" for these young minds with proper, interesting strong meat.
Our role is to provide them with a "feast" and trusting that the child will digest and learn in their own time. We recognise that children's minds are capable and we are here to support in providing a personal relationship, the source material, and the framework for the child's growth.

Our Mission
To inspire children through meaningful connections, nature discovery, and quality literature.
Our Approach
Inspiring Children with meaningful connection and living ideas that nourishes their hearts and minds.
We achieve this through the wonders of Nature and the richness of Literature.
Is what you’re reading aligned with what you believe is best for your child?
If so, we would love to connect with you! Through our sessions, we hope to support your journey as a parent and enrich the lives of your children.

Charlotte Mason
We adhere to Charlotte Mason’s pedagogy. Mason believes that Children are born persons. All aspects of their personhood should be considered; body, soul, spirit, mind, will and emotions.

“In this time of extraordinary pressure, educational and social, perhaps a mother’s first duty to her children is to secure for them a quiet growing time, a full six years of passive receptive life, the waking part of it spent for the most part out in the fresh air.”
Charlotte Mason
Personhood
Mason believed that Children are born persons — this means that the child already possesses all aspects of personhood: body, soul, spirit, mind, will, emotions.
They should be treated as individuals, not machine, as they are introduced to the variety and richness of the world in which they live.
Nature
In Nature, we are reminded that not everything is man-made. Noticing the details, appreciating the beauty that exists beyond our everyday routines.
It’s a chance to slow down, observe creatures both great and small, and be intentional to care about the world we live in. Not forgetting being under natural sunlight is so good for us and the children!
Literature
We've seen how a book can inspire ideas & nourish young minds. The choice of a book is important for these growing years - what are we feeding these young minds?
Just like how we aim to give children nutritious food, we should also provide them with enriching ideas & stories for their heart & minds.
